Begin your coaching journey with the ACC-level Training Course 

We look forward to walking alongside you on your journey toward being an effective and engaged coach! You will learn the essential coaching skills, approaches, mindsets needed to facilitate powerful and transformative coaching conversations.  You will engage with other student that bring their wisdom and experience to the training, and you'll work with several Surface to Soul coaching school instructors . Listed below are faculty that you'll interact with on a regular basis - both during classes, practice labs, panel and book discussions, and via blogs.  You'll also meet several other faculty members who will equip, encourage, and empower you in fulfilling your training objectives.

Information about the Course

TRAINING SESSIONS

  • Trainings  are held Mondays & Wednesdays (1:00-3:00pm CST).
  • Sessions are recorded may be accessed online for up to 2 weeks following the training date.
  • With the exception of Practice Labs, presentation slides are posted for all participants to view.
  • Please submit Coaching Manual assignments by February 28th.
  • Read and submit 20 blog assignments by April 30th.
  • Please email your instructor (s) if you will miss or be late for a class.

STUDENT  NOTES

  • Students can log coaching hours after the first ACC session.
  • Students will receive their Course Certificate upon completion of all coursework.

1 | Review the Coaching School Student Guide.
2 | Read the Coaching School Manual; review chapter assignments.
3 | Submit a signed version of the Release form.
4 | Review ICF Code of Ethics via the ICF's website.
5 | Download the Excel Coaching Log  or copy this Google Sheet.
6 | Download the Surface to Soul app on your phone/tablet via Apple or Android. Once it's downloaded, please create an account (save your User ID and password). Turn on notifications so that. you receive updates on th e learning lessons and assignments.
