Basics of Church Plantin

This session draws on the work of church-planting coach Dan Steigerwald and the "Coaching Church Planters" course from Fuller Seminary and Cyclical. We will cover the basics of how coaching church planters (or anyone looking to develop new and innovative ministries in their context) might differ from pure client-directed coaching. Specifically we will look at coaching using Steigerwald’s approach of "Seasons of Church Planting" (gestation, seeding, sprouting, fruiting) and the 6 missional moves: 1) Embed, 2) Initiate, 3) Practice, 4) Mature, 5) Hub, 6) Extend.

This session will be led by Erik Samuelson, a pastor and ICF coach from Washington state. Bring your questions and wonderings about ways to coach people who lead innovative ministries.
