If “stewardship is everything we say and do after we say yes to God,” how does that impact our interactions with others? Living as stewards of God’s grace and abundance permeates every choice we make regarding our time, treasures, talents and more. My challenge is simply to be reminded of the opportunity I have each and every moment to build God’s kingdom which, for me, requires that I be less preoccupied with my own concerns and more fully present to what’s happening around me. Sometimes it requires being less concerned about storing up treasures and finding ways to use the abundance in our lives right now. What holds you back from being fully present? How will you be a blessing to others today?

Everyday life gets in the way all the time. Family, friends, work, extra activities, etc can get in the way of being fully present in our faith journey God has called us on. I try to remember everyday that I am here because of God and so I need to focus on Him as much as I can and not let other things get in my way of practicing and living out my faith 100%. I am going to be a blessing to my kids tonight during Kids Church. I will teach them, love them, embrace them and show them God’s love through me!
My busy life holds me back. i am always doing something. The way I plan on being a blessing today is to post an encouraging tweet on our church Twitter account.
